Are Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart really trying for a baby?
According to The Star, the couple is!
The tabloid magazine quoting from a “source” is reporting:
“Jen has been telling her family and closest friends, “I’m having a baby.” Jennifer has always dreamed of having three or four kids. She knows that if she is going to be a biological mom again, it has to happen sooner rather than later. So she’s decided to just let nature take its course.”
Supposedly, Casper is on board for the baby making.
We decided to ask the Tarot whether or not J-Lo and Casper were trying for a child. We used the Pam A deck and a question designed spread for the reading.
What is the state of Jennifer’s Relationship with Casper?
Card – 4 of Swords:
Traditionally, the 4 of swords represents a retreat from activity, paralysis, or a time of meditation. However, with Jennifer Lopez on a world tour with Enrique Iglesias (with Casper on hand); retreat is the last word I would use to describe her relationship.
Rachel Pollack in her latest book, “The New Tarot Handbook,” has this to say about the 4 of Swords:
“Thus the card can indicate a withdrawal from struggle to find quiet inner peace, and possible healing; on a simpler level, perhaps it indicates a break from a period of tension.” (Page 165)
In this case, Jennifer is in recovery mode. Last year she ended her marriage with Marc Anthony; whom she married on the rebound from Ben Affleck. Her highly publicized relationships have left her in a state where being involved with a man who is not on the A-List may be exactly what she needs at the moment. Moreover, it appears that this relationship is more about healing for Jenny – getting back in touch with who she is and what she wants out of her life.
How does J-Lo feel about having a baby right now?
Card – The Hierophant
The Hierophant is often considered a marriage card. It features a priestly (Pope) figure standing in front of a couple. Jennifer has two children with Marc Anthony, whom she had while she married. In many ways, Jennifer is a traditional Latina girl; she probably wants more of a traditional relationship before she decided to have other children. If she even makes that decision.
How does Casper feel about having a baby?
Card – Strength
I will admit that this card perplexed me a little. On its face, it does not give a yes or no answer. The card is associated with strength and harnessing the ego. One of the things that I did notice is that the female figure in the card (Pam A deck) is wrestling with the lion. Could this be J-Lo has an enormous amount of control over Casper?
Card – 5 of Wands
This is the traditional card of strife. It appears that Casper is not really on board to be a daddy at this time. How it would modify the Strength card is his focus being more on himself and his own future rather than attempting to settle down and raise a family at this time. He did just sign a 1 million dollar deal with Oxygen for a reality show featuring J-Lo on tour.
Outcome:
Card – 6 of Swords
This card is the card of moving forward beyond ones current circumstances. As we have reported before, the tarot continues to say that this is not going to be a ‘forever’ relationship for the two of them. However, Casper will ride this train for whatever he can get out of it.
