The aspects of Mars and Neptune are interesting because under normal circumstances Mars is only concerned with the needs of the self rather than the needs of others. However, when Mars gets involved with Neptune we develop a personal need to become charitable and assist others with the concerns and issues that they have in their lives rather than our own.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, Mars will make a beautiful and favorable aspect to Neptune in Pisces. This is a great time to help other individuals, do charitable acts, and let go of our own personal agendas (even for just a day). Many individuals begin a deep spiritual search while this aspect is active (in this case especially if you are a Cancer, Scorpio, or a Pisces) in order to understand our relationship with others and how our relationships fit into the “big picture”. This is a great time to do intention work or attraction work around soul mates or to work on our relationships because Mars trine Neptune gives us the ability to see our mates through a different lens (we tend to see our mates as the Universe or God sees them) rather than our own.
There is one drawback to this aspect. We need to make sure before we do acts of service or charity that our motives are pure. The planet Neptune can convince us that we are doing things for the right reasons, yet we have hidden expectations and hidden agendas behind it. If you are performing a service in order to “get something” in return it could lead to difficulties, problems, and misunderstandings in the future.
